Diaper cakes are a great alternative to flowers and balloons, which don't last very long and may be difficult to transport. A little about us… we are two moms who met when our daughters went to preschool together. We started designing and making the cakes for friends and family, and their positive response encouraged us to make them for other people.

Our cakes come in two general types. The ‘diapers only’ cakes are comprised of a tower of quality diapers surrounded by premium ribbon and other embellishments. The ‘filled’ cakes have additional useful brand name baby items inside the cake, and are perfect when you want to treat someone to an extra special gift. As parents, we believe in using only the best ingredients for our cakes. We would not use a product in our diaper cakes that we would not use on our own kids. All of our cakes are available in boy, girl or neutral colors and designs. We can also customize your cake if you have something specific in mind.

Each diaper cake is assembled with the utmost care in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. We use Pampers Swaddlers in our diaper cakes, which are considered to be the best diaper on the market for baby's sensitive skin. We do not use glue, staples, tape or pins to hold the diapers together so they remain safe for use on baby, and the cake is easily disassembled.

We are pleased to introduce our "mocha" diaper cakes, made with Seventh Generation disposable diapers. These environmentally friendly diapers are chlorine-free, hypo-allergenic, fragrance- and latex free, yet offer premium fit and absorbency to keep baby comfortable and dry. Choosing chlorine-free diapers reduces the amount of dioxins and other pollutants in our air, water and soil. We also now offer eco-friendly diaper cakes featuring certified organic cotton clothing and linens, and Burt's Bees baby care products. These all-natural organic baby care products are chemical-free, and safe and gentle on baby and the environment.

Sweet Cakes also offers smaller, but equally unique products that make terrific mini gifts and baby shower party favors. We're sure they will be a great addition at your next baby shower or event!
